*arowN * A portion ( TarafN ) not completed, of a saying; as in the phrase, balaganiY Eanohu *arowN mino qawolK [ An uncompleted portion of a saying was related to me from him ]: (T, S:) or a little; a dial. var. of *aro'N [q. v.]. (M.) -A2- Also, and ↓ *arFY , i. q. ↓ *ur~iy~apN , (M, TA,) [respecting the derivation of which there are different opinions, explained in art. *rA^ ,] i. e. Created beings: [or children, or offspring: (see art *rA^ :)] or *arowN and ↓ *arFY signify the number of the *ur~iy~ap . (M.) One says, A^anomaY A@ll~`hu *aroA^aka and *arowaka , meaning May God increase [ the number of ] thine offspring. (T.) ― -b2- And *arowuAln~aAri occurs in a trad., as some relate it, instead of *aro'u Aln~aAri , as others relate it; meaning [either The children of the fire of Hell, agreeably with what next precedes, or] to be scattered in the fire.
