baAy^iEN * A young gazelle that stretches forth its fore legs to the full ( yabuwEu ) in going along: (K, TA:) an epithet in which the quality of a subst. is predominant: (TA:) pl. buwEN (K) and bawaAy^iEu . (TA.) And ↓ A^abowaAEu , a determinate noun, is applied to The ewe, because she does so in going along: and she is called to be milked thereby; (Ibn-'Abbád, K;) by saying, A^abowaAEu A^abowaAEu . (Ibn-'Abbád.) You say also naAqapN baAy^iEapu A she-camel that steps far, or takes long steps: pl. bawaAy^iEu . (TA.) And ↓ farasN bay~iEN , (K,) originally bayowiEN , (TA,) A horse that steps far, or takes long steps. (Z, K.)

baAy^iEN * Selling, or a seller: and buying, or a buyer: (Msb, K, * TA:) as also ↓ bay~iEN : (K:) the former signification is the more obvious when bAy^E is used without restriction: (Msb:) and ↓ bay~iEN also signifies [accord. to some] a bargainer, or chafferer; (K, TA;) not a seller nor a buyer; but Esh-Sháfi'ee and Az deny that this epithet is applied to a man before he has concluded the contract: (L, TA:) the pl. of bAy^E is baAEapN : (ISd, K:) and the pl. of ↓ by~E is biyaEaA='u [or rather this is a quasi-pl. n.] and A^aboyEaA='u : (K:) and Kr holds that baAEapN is pl. of by~E . (TA.) ↓ Albay~iEaAni signifies The seller and the buyer; (S, Mgh;) and so ↓ AlmutabaAyiEaAni . (TA.) It is said in a trad., biAlxiyaAri maA ↓ Albay~iEaAni lamo yatafar~aqaA , and in another, ↓ AlmutabaAyiEaAni , [ The seller and the buyer have the option of cancelling the contract as long as they have not separated. ] (TA.) ― -b2- AimoraA^apN baAy^iEN (tropical:) A woman who easily obtains a suitor; or who is much in demand; by reason of her beauty: (K, TA:) as though she sold herself: like naAqapN taAjirapN . (Z, TA.)
