EaAlK * : see EaliY~N . ― -b2- [Hence,] rajulN EaAliY AlkaEobi (assumed tropical:) A man who is elevated, exalted, eminent, or noble. (K. [See also kaEobN .]) It is said in a trad. respecting Keyleh, laA yazaAlu kaEobuki EaAlayFA , meaning May thou not cease to be elevated, or noble; exalted above such as treats, or regards, thee with enmity. (TA.) ― -b3- mino EaAlK signifies the same as mino Eali , q. v. (S, K.) ― -b4- EaAliyapu Ald~ami , said of the HaAy^iD , means One whose blood rises above the water. EayolapN (S, Mgh, O, Msb, K) [afterwards said in the K to be the subst. from this verb] and EuyuwlN (S, O, K) and EiyuwlN (TA) and EayolN and maEiylN ; (K;) and EAl , aor. yaEuwlu ; (Ks, TA in art. Ewl ;) and ↓ AEAl ; (K in that art.;) He was, or became, poor, (S, Mgh, O, Msb, K,) and in want. (S, O.) So in the saying maA lahu maAla waEaAla , [of which see another explanation in art. Ewl ,] a form of imprecation. (TA.) It is said in a trad., maA EaAla muqotaSidN walaA yaEiylu i. e. [ One following the right course ] has not become poor [ nor will he become poor ]. (TA.)
