ma$orabN * is a noun of place, [and of time,] as well as an inf. n.: [i. e.] it signifies [ A place, and a time, of drinking: or] the quarter ( wajoh ) whence one drinks: (S, TA:) and a place to which one comes to drink at a river or rivulet: (TA:) and ↓ ma$orabapN , (S, Msb, K, TA,) not, as is implied in the K, ma$orubapN also, (TA,) signifies [the same, as is indicated in the A; or] a place whence people drink; (Msb, TA; *) i. q. ma$oraEapN ; (K;) or like a ma$oraEap . (S, TA.) One says, h`*aA ma$orabu Alqawomi and ↓ ma$orabatuhumo [ This is the people's, or party's, drinkingplace, or place whence they drink ]. (A.)
