رَوَاح

rawaAHN * : see raAHapN , in three places. ― -b2- It is also an inf. n. of raAHa , [q. v.,] signifying the contr. of guduwN . (S.) ― -b3- And it signifies also The evening; (K;) or the afternoon, from the declining of the sun from the meridian until night. (S, K.) One says, saAruwA rawaAHFA [ They journeyed in the evening, or afternoon ]. (TA.) And ↓ laqiytuhu raAy^iHapF I met him in the evening, or afternoon. (A.) And xarajowA birawaAHK mina AlEa$iY~i , (S, K,) and mn AlE$Y~ ↓ biriyaAHK , (so in the T, A, L, and K,) or ↓ birayaAHK , (so in the S,) and mn AlE$Y~ ↓ biA^arowaAHK , (A, K,) using a pl. form, (TA,) meaning the same, (S,) or They went forth in the beginning of the evening, (K,) or (tropical:) when there were yet some remains of the evening. (A.) And A^ataY fulaAnN wa Ealayohi mina Aln~ahaAri ↓ riyaAHN , and ↓ A^arowanHN (tropical:) [ Such a one came when there were yet some remains for him of day ]. (A.)
