οἱρών : ot- chez Hsch., m., glosé par Ératosth. 38 ap. Hadn. 1,35 ἡ χάραξις τῶν ἀρότρων «le sillon tracé par la charrue », cf. encore Theognost. Can. 38 ; Hsch. glose ἡ ἐκ τῆς κατὰ μετρήσεως εὐθυωρία, donc «limites (on connaît les rapports entre le sillon et la frontière, οἷ. s.u. ὄρος) ; en chypriote (ICS 217, 8 et 31), Schulze, ΚΙ. Schr. 665, a correctement interprété ifoironi comme lv (= ἐν) τῷ οἱρῶνι « jusqu’à … — [Chantraine, s.v. οἱρών, p. 803]
