αἰζηός [adj.] unknown; ‘strong’? (IL). eVAR Also αἰζήϊος; αἰζήεις (Theopomp. Col.), αἰζᾶεν: εὐτραφὲς βλάστημα ‘well-fed offspring’ (H.). *ETYM Danielsson 1892 gives no definitive answer.
