Metaph. 1009b30; ὑπὸ τούτων ἀλλοφρονῆσαι were seized with frenzy by reason of the thunder, etc., Hdt. 5.85; ἀλύει καὶ ἀ. ὑπὸ τῆς ὀδύνης Hp. Morb. 2.16, cf. Mul. 1.41.
