Sens : « procurer, gagner », etc., cf. Il. 21,79 ἑκατόμθοιον ἦἧλφον « je t'ai rapporté le prix de cent bœufs » ; ou 706 13 94, 15 ὁπόσην ἂν ἄλφῃ μίσθωσιν τὸ τέμενος.
