فِصَال

fiSaAlN * an inf. n., (S, Mgh, O,) or a simple subst., (M, Msb, K,) The weaning of a sucking infant. (S, M, Mgh, O, Msb, K.) It is said in the Kur [xlvi. 14], waHamoluhu wafiSaAluhu valaAvuwna $ahorFA , (O, TA,) meaning And the period of the bearing of him in the womb and thenceforward to the end of the time of the weaning of him is thirty months. (TA.) And one says, h`*aA zamanu fiSaAlihi This is the time of the weaning of him. (Msb.)

faS~aAlN * and epithet applied to a man, (O,) Who praises men much in order that they may bestow upon him: an adventitious, not indigenous, word: (O, K:) [and] loquacious in every place. (MA.)
