SanoEapN * Work or handiwork, an art, a craft or handicraft, or a trade; (KL;) as also ↓ SinaAEapN : (KL, PS:) any habitual work or occupation of a man; as also HirofapN ; (K in art. Hrf ;) [and so ↓ SinaAEapN , as is indicated in the K voce HirofapN ; whence] one says, SinaAEatuhu riEaAyapu AlA_ibili [ His habitual work or occupation, or his business, is the tending, or pasturing, of camels ]: (M, and K in art. rEY :) or SanoEapN [more particularly] signifies the work of the SaAniE ; (S, O, K;) [ a manufacture, or work of art; and workmanship, or the skill of a worker, which last meaning is plainly indicated in the O, and by common usage:] and ↓ SinaAEapN , the Hirofap [i. e. craft, or habitual work or occupation, ] of the SaAniE , (S, Mgh, O, Msb, * K,) meaning of him who works with his hand: (Mgh:) the pl. of ↓ SinaAEapN is [ SanaAy^iEu and] SinaAEaAtN .
