γλάμων, -ονος [adj.] ‘blear-eyed’ (com.). eVAR Also γλαμυρός ‘id.’ (Hp.). From γλάμος: μύξα ‘mucus’ (H.) after adjectives in -wv and -υρός (φλεγυρός ‘inflamed’, Chantraine 1933: 231). Denominative yAapaw (Poll.) = λημιάω (which LSJ does not give), γλάμυξος = γλαμυρός together with γλαμυξιάω (EM), for yAa[po]-pvgoc? γλημώδης = yAapupdc (Gal.), after λημώδης ‘full of rheum’? eETYM Unknown.
