Od. 18.312; πάντεσσι θεοῖσι Il. 19.100: elsewh. Hom. always joins it with τοῖς or τοῖσι, whether a single person is addressed, as in Il. 2.411, 4.153, 19.55, or more than one, as in Od. 8.132:—μετέφη c. acc. pers. is f. l. in Il. 2.795.
