him, her, it, Ep. and Ion. acc. sg. of the 3rd pers. Pron. (v. ἵ) in all genders, = Dor. νιν (q. v.), both forms in codd. Pi. (μιν N. 5.38, Pae. 2.73, al.), and in B. (μιν only 10.111), only νιν in Trag. (μιν f.l. in A. Eu. 631, al.), neither in Att. Prose:—μὶν αὐτόν himself (emphatic), Il. 21.245, 318, etc. (αὐτήν μιν 11.117); αὐτόν μιν reflexive, = ἑαυτόν, Od. 4.244; μιν alone is sts. reflex., Hdt. 1.11, 45, al.; so αὐτόν (αὐτήν) μ. Id. 1.24, 2.100; μ. alone not reflex., Id. 2.100, al., Hippo
3rd pers. pl. doubtful in Hom., since it refers to δώματα by a sense-construction, Od. 10.212, 17.268: in later Ep. certainly pl., as A.R. 2.8. (Always enclitic, A.D. Pron. 39.12.)
