= ψιλὸς κιθαριστής (which is found in Philoch. 66 (pl.)), one who plays the κιθάρα without singing to it, instrumental performer, Chares 4J., cf. Ath. 10.452f, Suet. Dom. 4; also ψῑλο-κῐθᾰρεύς, έως, ὁ, CIG 2759 (Aphrodisias):—and ψῑλο-κῐθᾰριστική (sc. τέχνη) ἡ, = ψιλὴ κιθάρισις, Philoch. l.c.:—cf. ψιλός IV.3.
