ἀμφὶ δʼ ἴτυν ῥέεν Ὠκεανὸς πλήθοντι ἐοικώς, πᾶν δὲ συνεῖχε σάκος πολυδαίδαλον, οἳ δὲ κατʼ αὐτὸν κύκνοι ἀερσιπόται μεγάλʼ ἤπυον, οἵ ῥά τε πολλοὶ νῆχον ἐπʼ ἄκρον ὕδωρ:
