ὑσμίνη : f. (Hom., lyr., etc.), aussi le datif athématique ὑσμῖνι [μάχεσθαι] fin de vers dans 11. 2,863 ; 8,56, « mêlée, combat ». Dérivé Ὑσμιναταί nom d’une tribu à Épidaure, formation comparable à μαχητῆς, alyunrhc. Le mot ὑσμίνη est tiré d'un vieux dérivé athématique attesté par ὑσμῖνι, comme &Axñ à côté de ἀλκί, cf.
