ἀφαιρεθείσης δὲ τῆς ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ αἰτίας οὐδεμία τῶν ἄλλων εὔλογος εἶναι φαίνεται αἰτία τοῦ γὰρ περὶ τῶν ἐφʼ Ἡρακλείαις στήλαις ἢ τῶν ἐν Βορυσθένει προορᾶν τινας ὑπὲρ τὴν ἡμετέραν εἶναι δόξειεν ἂν σύνεσιν εὑρεῖν τὴν ἀρχήν.
